Today, we’re planning for the future as we prepare to move the legacy and health care ministry of this hospital to southwest St. Louis County. Just over four miles from our current location, we will continue to serve the Kirkwood community while providing a convenient health care option to this rapidly growing area. In late 2008, SSM St. Clare Health Center – featuring a full-service “hospital of the future,” an outpatient care center offering one-stop convenience to a full range of diagnostic and outpatient services and a medical office building – will replace the current SSM St. Joseph Hospital of Kirkwood.
